（1）协会定位（Mission）
国际元宇宙医学协会（International Association for Metaverse in Medicine, IAMM）是由全球医疗机构、科研团队、工程技术专家、医学教育组织与公共卫生机构共同发起的国际学术联盟。
IAMM 致力于推动 AI、扩展现实（XR）、数字孪生、医疗物联网（MIoT）、医学数字人、区块链 等关键技术在医疗健康领域的 规范化、安全化与可持续应用。
IAMM 的使命包括：
- 构建全球统一的元宇宙医学语言与技术标准体系
- 推动跨学科、跨机构、跨国界的医学协作
- 促进沉浸式医学教育、专业培训与能力建设
- 支持临床创新场景落地，包括 vICU、vMDT、虚拟医院等
- 保障用户安全、隐私与伦理原则的严格落实
- 通过数字化手段改善弱势群体与低资源地区的健康公平性
IAMM 以学术为根、以创新为驱动、以公共利益为导向，为全球医学界与科技界搭建高标准协作平台。

IAMM 的愿景是：
让全球每一个人，都能够在虚实融合、智能协同的未来医疗体系中，获得安全、高质量、公平可及、个性化的健康服务。
未来 5—10 年愿景路径包括：
- 建立全球认可的“元宇宙医学标准体系”
- 打造虚实融合的临床与教学生态（vICU、vMDT、虚拟教学医院）
- 建立多中心、多国家的医学协作网络
- 推动数字疗法、虚拟康复与公共健康数字孪生落地
- 提升全球健康素养、推动科学传播与公平医疗

The International Association for Metaverse in Medicine (IAMM) is a global academic alliance founded by healthcare institutions, research teams, engineering experts, medical educators and public health organizations.
IAMM is dedicated to advancing the safe, standardized and sustainable integration of key technologies—Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR), Digital Twins, MIoT, Medical Digital Humans and Blockchain—into the healthcare ecosystem.
IAMM’s mission includes:
- Establishing a unified global framework for Metaverse in Medicine terminology and technical standards
- Enabling interdisciplinary, cross-institutional and international collaboration
- Enhancing immersive medical education, professional training and workforce capacity
- Supporting clinical innovations such as vICU, vMDT and virtual hospitals
- Safeguarding privacy, security and ethical compliance
- Advancing global health equity, especially in underserved regions
IAMM serves as a high-standard global platform connecting medicine and emerging technologies for public good.

- Building internationally recognized standards for the Metaverse in Medicine
- Developing integrated clinical and educational ecosystems (vICU, vMDT, virtual teaching hospitals)
- Establishing multi-center, multinational collaboration networks
- Advancing digital therapeutics, virtual rehabilitation and population digital twins
- Strengthening global health literacy and reducing health inequity through technology
